Even if you aren’t a Bravo fan, it’s been hard to miss the internet frenzy this month surrounding Summer House stars Amanda Batula, West Wilson, and Ciara Miller. Like, we aren’t going to say this is a Scandoval-level event (we’ll be chasing that high forever), but this is pretty close.
You may be confused, but it’s actually pretty simple. The story at its most basic is a love triangle between recently divorced castmate Amanda Batula, her good friend Ciara Miller, and Ciara’s ex, West Wilson. Amanda’s ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, is tangentially involved as well.
Whether you’re the designated Bravo Paul Revere in your group chat who can’t explain the complicated dynamics in a single voice note or you have no idea at all what’s going on, we’re here to help. Just send them this story, where we have compiled absolutely everything you need to know about the rumors surrounding the reality show and its cast.
Here’s a complete timeline of everything that’s going on between Ciara, Amanda, and West from Summer House.
September 25, 2021: Amanda and Kyle get married
After a three-year engagement and a COVID-related postponement, Amanda and Kyle wed at her family home in New Jersey. Their Summer House castmate Carl Radke officiated and then-castmate Paige DeSorbo was a bridesmaid. The whole thing aired during Summer House season six.
For fans who’ve been watching their relationship develop since season one of the show, which aired in 2015, seeing the couple make it to the altar felt like a victory. We’d watched their ups and downs over several seasons, and it seemed like everything was working out.

2023: West joins Summer House for season 8.
West Wilson, a then 28-year-old sports journalist, is introduced as a new cast member on season 8 of Summer House; his bio contains a healthy amount of foreshadowing, with Bravo describing his biggest hurdle as “being able to commit.”
Summer 2023: Ciara and West get together while filming season 8.
During season 8 of Summer House, which was filmed in 2023 and aired in 2024, fans watched as West developed a relationship with Ciara. Since she was a fan favorite who was always careful with her heart on the show, it was genuinely fun to watch her open herself up to love with the show’s golden retriever–like newbie. Until…

June 6, 2024: West and Ciara reveal their breakup during the season 8 reunion.
At the reunion for season 8, West and Ciara reveal they are no longer together. While their relationship lasted through the entire summer and fall of 2023, and Ciara even met West’s parents (!!), he ended things evvel the show was about to premiere in February 2024.
“[You told me] that you can’t commit because, basically, for show-related reasons,” Ciara told West at the reunion.
The backlash to West’s actions was so intense he even talked about it in The New York Times, pleading for forgiveness. “I thought people would be upset that we, like, didn’t work out. I had no clue that I would be getting the hate that I have gotten,” he said.

Summer 2024: West and Ciara feud during season 9.
In season 9, which was filmed in 2024 and aired in early 2025, the drama didn’t stop between the exes. Ciara was upset that West decided to speak to the press about their breakup rather than work things out with her, while West felt he was “villainized.”
“I can’t figure out if West cares and genuinely feels bad, or if he’s just concerned with how he’s going to look again,” Ciara told the cameras.
Still, season 9 also saw the tensions die down. Ciara had flirtations with Carl and castmate Jesse Solomon, while West slowly won back the Bravo-verse. Things seemed to be calming a bit. There even seemed to be hints that Ciara and West could be rekindling in the season 10 trailer, with the exes saying that they missed each other. But then…
January 19, 2026: Amanda and Kyle announce their split.
In early 2026 the Batula-Cooke relationship came to an end after more than a decade of tumultuous ups and downs. While Bravo fans felt for their onetime Loverboys, many had to say that they saw it coming, as the couple had been fighting onscreen for years.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the pair wrote in a joint Instagram story posted on January 19, 2026. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
February 8, 2026: West and Amanda may have been seeing each other as early as February, according to Barstool founder Dave Portnoy.
Later, while Bravo viewers were losing their minds over the March bombshell, Portnoy will call it “old news” on X.com, claiming Barstool’s own Briana “Chickenfry” LaPaglia told him about the pair at the Harika Bowl. (LaPaglia then blasted Portnoy’s post on TikTok, saying he “aired all my shit out online.” That’s not exactly a denial.) LaPaglia and Wilson sparked their own dating rumors last February, though Wilson said they just “made out.”
March 5, 2026: DeuxMoi posts that West and Amanda are spotted flirting.
Now, everyone knows to take the celebrity gossip Instagram account with a grain of salt. But fans were still shook to consider that the duo would actually be “openly flirty, allegedly even holding hands under the table,” as the blind item suggested.
Fans were quick to point out that if it were true, it would be a rather big betrayal of Ciara by Amanda. Ciara clearly had been emotionally devastated by the whole situation with West, and she and Amanda have been friends for years.
Meanwhile, in clips from 2025: Ciara discusses racial abuse she faced following the West breakup while filming season 10.
In a candid moment during episode 7 of season 10, which was filmed in 2025 but aired in March 2026, Ciara opens up to the house about how she faced blowback from the interviews West did about their ending. “I was the first Black person in this house and then, dating white guys publicly, it’s a whole contraption that I don’t think you guys even understand,” she said.
West apologized in the moment, but the conversation made fans even more aghast about the rumors.

March 25, 2026: West seems to deny rumors on Watch What Happens Live.
When asked by Andy Cohen if he and Amanda were more than friends, West brushed it off, saying he was just helping a newly single friend readjust to the dating scene. “If it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I, like, deva about her a lot,” he said.
Amanda also seemed to deny the rumors, commenting “THANK YOUUUUUUU” to a fan insistence that they were just besties, according to Entertainment Weekly.
March 26, 2026: Page Six reports Amanda and Ciara have fallen out.
More smoke equals fire? The tabloid reported that the former friends were on the rocks as rumors swirled, even canceling a planned appearance together and “unliking” each others posts.
From then on, it was a full-on Bravo-verse frenzy, the likes of which we haven’t seen since Scandoval. Fans were reading into Instagram stories (Is castmate Lindsay Hubbard showing support for Ciara? Is Kyle?) But we didn’t have any confirmation that West and Amanda were a thing. Yet.
March 30, 2026: Ciara Miller tells Jon Hamm she’s “been better.”
The same day West and Amanda put out their joint statement (we’ll get to that in a second), Jon Hamm makes an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Hamm told Cohen he’d just seen Ciara on the red carpet last night and had no idea what was soon to be revealed.
Their interaction was also shared by Ciara, who posted a compilation of her red-carpet interviews from the evening on Instagram Reels on March 31. Hamm says he has “a lot of thoughts” on the scandal and that he’s “Team Ciara.”

Are they dating? Just hooking up? Unclear, but the couple shocked the world by revealing that the rumors are totally true.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with deva,” they said in part. “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
All of our faces right now…

March 31, 2026: Ciara is allegedly photographed sitting on a NYC sidewalk.
Page Six claims the blurry photo was taken directly after West and Amanda’s joint statement was released. Someone appears to be comforting the reality star in the pic, perhaps because…
March 31, 2026: US Weekly reports Ciara and West had been considering dating again.
Okay, so this is all based on “sources”; the report claims Ciara feels deeply betrayed by both her ex and her good friend. “Ciara cut off both Amanda and West after finding out,” US Weekly wrote. “She’s furious at West but even more hurt by Amanda. Disappointed doesn’t even cover it. This is so much more to Ciara than just breaking girl code.”
Making things even stickier, the magazine reported that Ciara and West had been potentially giving their romance another shot, saying they were “casually seeing each other and seeing if things would work out again recently.”
April 1, 2026: Kyle defends Amanda, asks for cyberbullying to stop.
In a görüntü interview on TikTok, Kyle addresses the scandal for the first time. He defended his ex-wife, saying he was worried about the amount of hate she was receiving and said that she was “not well” right now.
Kyle made it clear that he thought the way Amanda was being treated was sexist and unfair, claiming that West had gained “50,000” followers while she was being attacked. “I’m not justifying any behavior, but from what I’m seeing is she is getting cyberbullied,” he said.
Kyle also said it “seems” as if West was “playing multiple women at the same time,” which leads us to…
April 1, 2026: A report emerges that West was in an “exclusive” relationship.
Again, we will take all tabloid reports with a grain of salt. But this one from Page Six is a doozy. According to the paper’s sources, West was “exclusive” with a woman named Meija Moreno, who he has referenced on Summer House, “as recently as last week.”
April 1, 2026: Alana Haim wears a DIY bedazzled “Team Ciara!” shirt on Watch What Happens Live.
And that’s no April Fool’s joke.

April 2, 2026: Things just got so much more Scandoval-esque.
According to TMZ sources, Ciara Miller discovered a görüntü of West and Amanda “being intimate” in his apartment ahead of their announcement. The sources claim the alleged görüntü was taken in West’s apartment but that neither West nor Amanda knew they were being filmed (uhhhhhhh???).
In case you forgot, Ariana Madix discovered Tom Sandoval’s affair with her close friend Rachel “Raquel” Leviss by viewing a sexual selfie görüntü on Tom’s cell phone.
Aside from the alleged görüntü, one source also told TMZ that Amanda texted Ciara about the situation on Monday, March 30. According to the source, Amanda said she never meant to hurt Ciara and wanted to “sort out her feelings about West” before telling her. Perhaps that’s why Ciara told Jon Hamm she’d “been better” later that night.
April 3, 2026: The “Giggly Squad” speaks out.
To no one’s surprise, Ciara’s friends Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner have her back.
In an episode of their Giggly Squad podcast, the former Summer House co-stars said they had no interest in speaking for their friend, who DeSorbo called a “strong, intelligent, capable woman.”
“We will say, obviously, Ciara is our real friend in real life,” she said. “So we have been talking to her, consoling her. We are behind her 100%. We would never capitalize or monetize off of our friend’s heartbreak.”
She added that Ciara would speak for herself when she chose to. Commenters noted that they didn’t even utter anyone else’s name.
April 3, 2026: Kyle and Amanda are spotted together.
Kyle Cooke supports his estranged wife Amanda IRL in NYC as the couple are spotted by Page Six hugging it out and taking their dogs on a walk. Amanda can be seen carrying a bouquet of flowers, apparently from her younger brother, during this first outing since the joint statement.
April 3, 2026: Ciara steps out.
Ciara goes on a walk to show everyone how OK she is.
April 5, 2026: Ciara redirects attention.
She. Is. Risen. Ciara Miller took to Instagram Stories to redirect some of the attention placed on her toward a worthy cause, linking to the cookie-purchase page for Girl Scout Troop 6000, a troop for girls in New York City living in the shelter system. “I grew up a Girl Scout. It’s where I first learned what sisterhood looks like, it taught me courage, confidence and how to carry myself through hard things…if you’re in my corner right now, be in theirs too,” she wrote. Classy AF.
April 7, 2026: Ciara makes reference to scandal at Euphoria premiere
While serving as a red-carpet host at the premiere of the HBO show’s third season (slay), Ciara made a seemingly pointed reference to how the series has imitated her real life.
When talking to Sydney Sweeney, whose character Cassie started dating her best friend Maddie’s (Alexa Demie) ex-boyfriend Nate (Jacob Elordi) on the show, Ciara threw out a not-so-hypothetical question.
“If you steal your friend’s ex-boyfriend, what do you think is the next step?” she asked. “Honestly, I feel like you ought to get married.” Sweeney replied.
April 8, 2026: TMZ reports Amanda and West are in it for the long haul
That is, according to “sources.” The unnamed insiders say that the reports claiming West has been dating other women “couldn’t be further from the truth” and that the duo feels “confident” in their relationship.
“Amanda isn’t bothered. We’re told she trusts West and feels confident in their relationship. The two are still going strong and building things, without letting outside opinions interfere,” reports TMZ.
April 10, 2026: Amanda and West canoodle in NYC
Amanda is ready to live her life, according to a new Instagram story post. In the post, Amanda says she’s “truly sorry to everyone I’ve disappointed and hurt,” but will be returning to life as olağan until the reunion. You can read her full statement here:
“Hi guys, I’ll keep this short and sweet. I’ve obviously been MIA, but I wanted to come back on and say that I’m truly sorry to everyone I’ve disappointed and hurt, especially those I know personally who I’ve reached out to individually. For the sake of my mental health, I’m going to try to start living life with some sense of normalcy. If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me. I’m not ignoring what’s happened or what’s unfolded. I’ll be at the reunion and will be addressing any and all questions honestly and directly there.”

She lived by that statement later that day, when she was photographed at a NYC bar with West, according to images shared by DeuxMoi and other social media posts. According to DeuxMoi, the pair continued their evening at a restaurant called Emmett’s and had drinks at Barrow Street Ale House. A source told Page Six the pair “made out at the table” before Amanda hid under his sweater.
“They seemed like they were having a good time,” the source said. “They kissed. They were there for a while. Before dinner, they were at Blind Tiger.”
April 11, 2026: Ciara Miller sends a message about loyalty while securing her bag
But while Amanda and West were spotted getting cozy across NYC, Ciara was cracking clever jokes on Instagram. “@Sephora actually rewards loyalty,” she captioned a recent Instagram collab with the makeup retailer, likely referring to their Beauty Insider rewards program…and something else.
April 17, 2026: Ciara speaks out in an exclusive interview with Glamour
For her first interview since the bombshell, Miller reveals she was told about West and Amanda’s plan to release a joint Instagram statement “less than 24 hours” in advance, adding that “One [notification] was about 45 minutes before.” As for the statement itself: “I read it with the rest of the world. There’s something about the lack of being able to say each other’s names in the statement that I found very telling, but I don’t know.”
Miller says her last conversation with Amanda was “minimal” but promises to reveal more about that at the reunion. She would say she feels more betrayed by Amanda’s behavior than West’s.
“At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy. Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can’t put anything past a man,” she says. “But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long. I think that’s the craziest part.”
She continues, “I’ve fought with your own husband to advocate for you. I have championed you. I have tried to be there in different ways for you and help you and get you to see your value in yourself. And so to be disregarded in such a disrespectful way is…. Honestly, it’s…. I’m at a loss for words sometimes.”
