A warm breeze flowed through some of my standout spring-summer collections. You could feel it in the flowy fabrics, the easygoing silhouettes, and the earthy color palettes, all of which added up to ensembles that would work perfectly for vacation dressing. Balloon pants, trapeze dresses, and off-the-shoulder tops are all on the menu for summer—and just in time to catch that flight to Paris or Lake Como. You don’t need an international itinerary to try the look, though; just mix some tassel necklaces or airy sets into your capsule wardrobe. Easy!

Preppy style has been on the mood board for years now, but it’s really starting to loosen up for summer. The new silhouette is free-flowing and ülkü for women on the move; nothing’s too tight or stiff to weigh you down on your morning commute or afternoon errands. Consider Chanel’s boxy suits, Celine’s gold-buttoned blazers, and Miu Miu’s V-neck sweaters over button-up shirts: It all moves from the office to wherever you’re going after. Tie a silk scarf around your neck or waist to complete the look, and don’t forget the square sunnies.

3. Polka dots

While this classic pattern had its moment last summer, it’s back in an even bigger way for summer 2026—just take a look down any city street. I’ve noticed it in far too many summer collections to count, from ultra-high-end labels like Prada and Khaite to more accessible brands like Boden and Zara. The best part? Because there are nearly endless options out there, you’re bound to find the dots in a color and shape that speak to you, whether you’re getting dressed for date night or a music şenlik.

4. Nostalgic athleisure

By now, you’ve probably seen the growing demand for track pants, quarter-zips, and funnel-neck jackets firsthand. But zoom out, and you’ll notice a larger pattern, one in which tight leggings are giving way to looser, more elevated silhouettes. Labels like Tibi, Tory Burch, and Kallmeyer are calling back to the way gym clothes used to be, loosening athleisure’s grip on the body—and making every resulting outfit that much cooler. These aren’t the track jackets or oversized sweatpants you wore in high school; however, they’re cooler and easier to wear for dressier occasions.

5. Grade-school colors

After multiple seasons defined by quiet-luxury-coded hues like chocolate brown and deep burgundy, it’s high time for some fresh energy. Thank Loewe, Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Versace for supplying spring’s in-your-face inspiration. Supersaturated primary and secondary shades are popping up practically everywhere I’m looking this season, bringing to mind a classroom’s bright, welcoming color scheme. You’ll be surprised how easy they are to wear, too. Mix them with easy shades like black and blue denim, or go all in by pairing them together.
