Either Zendaya and Tom Holland pulled off the biggest gossip coup of the year…or Law Roach is a masterful troll. Either way, bravo.
The speculation got going again after Roach flat-out said during a red-carpet interview in March 2026 that the wedding had already happened, but this isn’t the first time the stylist’s answer to a wedding-related question has sparked the theory that the nuptials already took place. In May 2025, asked by Complex about his famous client’s potential gown, he responded, “The wedding? Zendaya’s working on six movies—she has like six movies coming out. I’m thinking about the press tours.”
He continued, “It will probably be a wedding dress that nobody will ever see, to be quite honest, because she and Tom are üstün private about their relationship…. They try to be as private as possible, so there won’t be a Vogue spread; there won’t be pictures of the wedding. The people that she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy. So it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see.” Fans immediately took to the internet to speculate that the pair were already married, given how settled the matter seemed to be.
So, is this new soundbite just confirmation? Or a PR strategy playing out over a few months? Or both!?

Law Roach spilled the beans (unless he was joking).
On the red carpet for the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach told Access Hollywood that the wedding had already happened and “you missed it!,” smiling devilishly as he repeated that it was “very true” and walked away. Watch the Access Hollywood moment here.
But that’s just a 10-second clip. When you watch him repeat the same talking point to Entertainment Tonight, it looks like it could be his way of dodging the question of what her wedding look might be, before pivoting to talking about her upcoming red-carpet premieres. “The wedding’s already over, sorry,” he deadpans, immediately switching subjects to Zendaya’s upcoming films. This year she’ll be promoting A24’s The Drama, the third Dune movie, and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, so Roach will have his work cut out for him.
Zendaya’s new ring is a clue.
The pair, who revealed their engagement at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, haven’t been seen together, like, at all recently, but the Euphoria star did recently swap out her massive diamond ring for a simple gold band, sparking rumors that she’s a married lady prior to Roach’s mic-drop moment.

While many thought she could have turned the ring inwards towards her palm or simply worn a band in place of the giant rock as a safety precaution, a new promo görüntü and photoshoot for The Drama seem to suggest otherwise.
In one image released by A24 on March 5, you can see Zendaya wearing an engagement ring alongside a gold band on her left ring finger. Let’s zoom in a bit:
It does appear to be Zendaya’s own engagement ring, though it’s possible she shares a similar taste in rings with her character from the film…. Then again, it seems unlikely the actors were posing in character based on their awkward photo shoot in the teaser trailer.
Z’s mom weighed in…cryptically!
Say less! On March 2, Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer, reposted the ET clip to her IG Stories and wrote, “The laugh…” with a cry-laughing emoji. They’re all laughing at us! It’s unclear if the laugh is because this is real or because it isn’t.
Meanwhile, Holland’s dad posted a picture of a pretty flower.

Could they even pull this off?
Well, celebrities have gotten secretly married before and kept the news quiet because they had very small, intimate weddings. If TomDaya went that route…maybe. But to get legally married, you also have to file paperwork, and TMZ is pretty adept at digging that up in a timely manner. For A-listers like and Zendaya and Tom Holland, we’d bet there are lots of tipsters on call. Then again, if they tied the knot in Holland’s native England, maybe it could take more time for word to spread?
