Are Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles getting married? Are any of his new songs about her? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? At least we have an answer to one of life’s great mysteries: According to People, Styles and Kravitz are indeed getting married.

Styles and Kravitz have been linked since August of last year, when their paths kept crossing as she promoted a movie in Europe alongside Austin Butler. And by that we mean the famous duo were seen linking arms in Rome after an alleged snogging session in London.

While some sources claimed the pair were enjoying being “friends with benefits,” things quickly escalated enough for pap walks in coordinated outfits in early September 2025. By December engagement rumors were already flying over a certain ring on her left ring finger. Here’s everything we know about the couple’s relationship so far, with the most recent updates up top.

April 27, 2026: Where there’s smoke there’s fire, it seems. A source confirms to People that Kravitz and Styles are engaged and have been sharing the news with “a small circle.” “The actress has been showing off her ring to friends,” the outlet adds. I mean, wouldn’t you?

Unfortunately, that’s all we know at this time. Any additional questions we might have—when the wedding will take place, how the proposal happened, what song will be their first dance—are still under wraps for now.

April 21, 2026: Engagement rumors pick back up when Kravitz is photographed kissing Styles while wearing a baseball cap that says “Kiss” and a large diamond ring on that finger. The photos published by The Sun immediately sparked headlines and theories that the pair are heading to the altar, with Cosmo referring to the piece of jewelry as an engagement ring with their full chest.

People on social media have been naturally crashing out about this news, but didn’t we just do this in December when Kravitz was spotted wearing a gold band on her left ring finger? (More on that below.) We’re not saying Kravitz and Styles aren’t engaged—that would be a pretty bold ring to wear with a casual sweater and trench coat on a lark—but let’s wait for confirmation before we get too ahead of ourselves.

Not for nothing, but Lenny Kravitz evvel recorded a very famous cover of “American Woman” by The Guess Who, which could have inspired the title of Styles’s song. Many others seem to think so.

March 5, 2026: Styles says his new song “American Girls” is a “lonely song” about watching his three closest friends get married and questioning his own priorities.

“Watching them get married, I was like, ‘I’m single so I’m having all the fun’,” he tells Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “‘American Girl’ is actually about watching them get married and [realizing] there is just a magic when you find the right person that you want to be with.” Still, he says making space for that person does not come without “risk” and “uncertainty.”

“If you’re like touring all the time, and you’re doing this all the time, there’s no space to really choose,” he says. “I think I had a real honest conversation with myself about, okay, in five years, what do I want my life to look like? And then how do I make changes to aim at that? I don’t want to be the guy who’s like on his own but was like, ‘Oh I really did it!’ I want to be fulfilled and I want to be in great relationships with people, I want to have great friendships with people, I want a family, I want these things.”

Ultimately, he realized he “can’t just expect them to just happen to me,” but notes “the right person” can “hold you accountable to the person that they know you want to be.”

March 3, 2026: Fans notice that Styles’s mom, Anne Twist, liked a British Vogue Instagram post about Kravitz attending a show at Paris Fashion Week.

February 25, 2026: Styles jokes about practicing Italian on dating app Raya during an appearance on Brittany Broski’s podcast, Royal Court. “How do you keep it up?” she asks, to which he replies, “Mostly just talking with friends. And I do a little bit of the app…Raya.”

January 15, 2026: Styles announced his upcoming album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. This announcement also marks our first show of support from Lenny Kravitz, who commented with a heart and fist emoji.

“He thinks they’re a great match,” a source previously told Us Weekly. “Lenny says they really make each other happy and have an easygoing relationship, like best friends who are dating.”

December 19, 2025: Looking chic in Rome. More important, Kravitz is spotted wearing a gold band on that finger, which immediately sparks engagement rumors.

October 17, 2025: TMZ publishes photos of the pair in matching black outfits, reporting the pair spent nine hours at a recording studio before heading for sushi in NYC. New music incoming?

October 9, 2025: Taylor Swift happily discusses Zoë Kravitz and Lisa Bonet’s snake getting loose in her apartment on Late Night With Seth Meyers, suggesting the pair are still friends amid rumors that Swift’s friend is dating her ex.

Styles and Swift famously dated for less than a year in 2012, while Swift and Kravitz have been close friends for about a decade. Swift even lent Kravitz and her mom one of her homes during the LA fires in January 2025, which led to the whole snake debacle.

According to Us Weekly, Swift “doesn’t have an issue” with Kravitz and Styles dating. “Their relationship was so long ago,” a source said. “Harry has moved on, and so has Taylor. They’re friendly when they see each other, which isn’t often but does happen occasionally. It’s all in the past now.”

September 23, 2025: Sources tell Parade that Kravitz supported Styles as he ran the Berlin Marathon. One source claimed the pair were “constantly kissing but trying to keep a low profile” during their weekend in Berlin.

September 12, 2025: The pair are seen in Rome, with PDA aplenty.

September 5, 2025: The pair dress to match again in black tops and low-slung loose jeans. In a görüntü shared by TMZ, Styles and Kravitz can be seen holding hands before adjusting so his arm is slung over her shoulder—all without letting go of each other’s hands.

September 4, 2025: The pair coordinate outfits in New York City one day after TMZ reports the pair are “merely hooking up” in a “friends with benefits” kind of way.

August 27, 2025: A source tells Us Weekly that the relationship is “very new” and “isn’t serious,” noting that they’d met prior to spending time together in Europe and had kept in touch.

“They are very similar and are free-spirited people, so they hit it off and have a lot of chemistry,” the source adds.

“Harry and Zoë were tucked away in a corner in Rita’s and were snogging like teenagers,” a source later told The Sun. “They seemed really into each other and didn’t seem to deva if anyone saw them kissing.”
