Should I Marry a Murderer? is quite the title for a true-crime docuseries.
Of course, Netflix knows how to deliver a good documentary. From Louis Theroux’s Inside the Manosphere to Trust Me: The False Prophet, if there’s one thing the streaming giant understands, it’s how to turn a shocking crime into a bingeable, chart-topping hit.
And there’s no sign of it slowing down. Their latest documentary series looks set to continue that streak, exploring a shocking real case of love, betrayal, and justice. This time it’s all about Should I Marry a Murderer?, whose title got us hooked without any further info. A Netflix caption reads, “A fiancée turned key witness reveals how she stayed engaged to a man accused of murder while gathering evidence against him in this documentary series.”
